The teacher works with children and parents and serves as a guide for team members involved and contributing to the development of the child. The incumbent of this position assists in performing educational work that insures a healthy, safe facility and a conductive educational climate for infants/toddlers. Newborn Nursery – Our busy newborn services provide care for babies born at Oishei Children’s Hospital and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.Models, guides and directs teachers, volunteers and parents in the program. ![]() ![]() The Youth Link Program – Providing primary medical care, specialty care and case management services for adolescents who are infected with HIV or are at-risk for getting HIV. Special Needs – Primary care clinic for children with medical complexity, including a range of complex medical, developmental, behavioral and/or emotional disabilities. The clinics see more than 27,000 patient visits per year and offer a rich training environment for our students and residents. Our patient population is extremely diverse. The clinics provide comprehensive pediatric care, developmental and psychosocial screening, and care coordination, and are participants in the Reach Out and Read program. Our clinics are certified as Patient-Centered Medical Homes by the National Center for Quality Assurance. Primary Care – The primary care pediatric health centers, Niagara Street Pediatrics and Broadway Pediatrics, provide high quality primary medical care to children in the city of Buffalo. ![]()
